Advent and Christmas are special times at FCC San Rafael. Each week a little more of the sanctuary is readied for Christmas and each week we light another candle of the Advent Wreath. Sometimes we have play readings with unusual twists; we always have special music of the season–some familiar and some fresh and new. Christmas Eve the star appears and we have a candlelight service of carols and readings, concluding with Silent Night by candlelight, often under the stars in the Courtyard.
