Pillow Sunday is an annual project every spring. On June 9, we collected 38 new pillows for Homeward Bound. Homeward Bound operates a number of shelters, transitional housing, job-training and re-entry serves for unhoused families, individuals, and veterans in Marin County. This is an annual spring project for our church.

One of our members who helped deliver the pillows this year reported, “we passed a resident who saw the big bags ofpillows we were carrying and with enthusiasm asked if she could put her name on one right away!  A couple of staff members who helped us carry the pillows mentioned how they have been seen an increasing number of more elderly unhoused and housing challenged folk. They particularly often ask if they might have more than one pillow to help with positioning for back or joint pains.”
