Over the years FCCSR has found many ways to support community services locally, nationally, and internationally. In addition to financial support to several organizations, we have also served dinners for homeless, joined food distribution, and provided backpacks, pillows, and blankets to homeless serving agencies. Every Sunday members bring food for the food barrel which goes to the San Francisco-Marin Food Bank. In the past we have marched with Crop Walk, written letters one Sunday a year to urge legislators to support hunger solving programs, and helped create “Every Dollar Feeds Kids” which has served several million meals through school lunch programs for hungry kids and families in Mexico.
